Vikings: Bridgewater absent for family matter
Teddy Bridgewater missed the Minnesota Vikings’ Friday walk-through practice after attending Friday morning’s full practice.
The team announced on Twitter that Bridgewater is “dealing with a family matter and will rejoin the team in Ohio for Sunday's game.”
Bridgewater left Mankato on Friday and is expected to make his own way to Canton, Ohio for the preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Although the team declined to go into details and head coach Mike Zimmer didn’t address the media after Friday’s practice, it was presented as a minor issue that won’t cause him to miss additional time.
