Cornerback Josh Robinson, who hasn’t practiced since a pectoral muscle injury in organized team activities, was placed on the physically unable to perform list, meaning he won’t count against the roster limits of 75 players by 3 p.m. Tuesday or 53 players by 3 p.m. Saturday. Robinson can start practicing with the Vikings again after six weeks of the regular season and the Vikings have until the day after the 11th week of the season to make a move on Robinson.
The Vikings also waived tackle Carter Bykowski with the injury designation, meaning he will go on season-ending injured reserve with a pectoral injury if no other team claims him by end of business Tuesday.
The Vikings have one more roster move to make by 3 p.m. Tuesday to get down the 75-man roster. They released 11 players on Monday to trim their roster to 78 players. With several low-level trades being made around the NFL in the previous 24 hours, the Vikings could be looking that route for their final roster move before Tuesday afternoon.
In addition to roster moves, not practicing for Vikings on Monday were QB Mike Kafka, LB Brian Peters, C John Sullivan and DT Shamar Stephen. TE Chase Ford left practice after going through stretches.
