DeAndre Levy inactive for Lions, Andrew Sendejo starting for Vikings

While the Minnesota Vikings are at full strength on their active roster, that’s not the case with the Detroit Lions.

While the Minnesota Vikings are healthy on their active roster, the Detroit Lions will be without their best linebacker, DeAndre Levy, who was listed as doubtful with a hip injury on Friday’s injury report.

The Lions also will be without TE Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring), who was listed as out on Friday, but they are playing DT Haloti Ngata, who was questionable with a shoulder injury. DT Caraun Reid (ankle) was also questionable but is inactive.

The Vikings had RB Jerick McKinnon (ankle) and DT Shamar Stephen (knee) on the injury report all week, but they were full participants and listed as probable. They are both active.

Inactive for the Vikings are QB Taylor Heinicke, WR Stefon Diggs, LB Edmond Robinson and DE Danielle Hunter – all rookies – and T Jeremiah Sirles and TE Chase Ford.

As for the depth chart, the Vikings will start Andrew Sendejo at strong safety for the second straight game. He started the opener, but was pulled in the second half in favor of former starter Robert Blanton.

In addition to Levy, Pettigrew and Reid, the Lions listed WR TJ Jones, OL Taylor Boggs, T Corey Robinson, DE Devin Taylor.
