Minnesota Vikings guard Brandon Fusco dealing with concussion

The Vikings’ injury issues on the offensive line continue with Brandon Fusco in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Vikings guard Brandon Fusco sat out of Wednesday’s practice because of a concussion suffered in Sunday’s game. Fusco wasn’t diagnosed during the game and played every snap against Detroit.

He will have to pass the NFL’s standard series of concussion tests before returning to practice.

Jeremiah Sirles, acquired from the San Diego Chargers before the first regular-season game, was filling in for Fusco during Wednesday’s practice.

The only other Viking listed on the injury report Wednesday was DT Shamar Stephen, who was a full participant.
