Mike Wallace has ‘zero doubt’ he plays Sunday for Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings receiver Mike Wallace has “no doubt” he will play Sunday despite taking a helmet to his left knee.

Mike Wallace says there is “zero doubt” he will be ready to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, despite not practicing on Wednesday.

The Minnesota Vikings’ top receiver didn’t practice early last week and hasn't this week yet, but he caught balls after practice and had a wrap or brace on his left knee while working with head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman on Wednesday.

“Just a little sore knee. When I got tackled, I got tackled on my knee. Helmet hit my knee, but I feel good,” Wallace said. “I felt good running around today. I think everything should be back to normal tomorrow.”

The injury happened in the first quarter of the Denver Broncos game on Oct. 4 and the Vikings were on bye this past weekend.

Now Wallace said the knee “feels good. Feeling really good. Extremely good.”

So if there was a question among some if he will be available on Sunday, there’s no question in his mind.

“None at all. No doubt. Zero doubt,” he said.
