Minnesota Vikings WR Mike Wallace luckier than his car after accident

Minnesota Vikings receiver Mike Wallace got into an accident leaving TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday. While he didn’t sustain any injuries, his car wasn’t so lucky.

Mike Wallace has struggled to get much going with the Minnesota Vikings’ passing game lately – he has just two catches in the last four games – but after Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers he had a greater concern.

Wallace got into a car accident leaving TCF Bank Stadium, but fortunately he was unscathed.

“Everything is good,” he said when asked if he was injured at all.

Indeed, Wallace practiced fully on Wednesday and didn’t appear on the team’s injury report.

If there was an injury report for vehicles, his BMW i8 would be listed as doubtful for the weekend.

“It was a little messed up, but it will be alright,” he said.

The car wasn’t totaled, but he didn’t want to talk about it too much, indicating there were some issues (likely with insurance) he wanted to get “out of the way.”

“I just got hit from the side.” he said.

He said the car wasn’t totaled. A new 2016 BMW i8 has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of more than $140,000.
