Antone Exum got his first shot at starting in the NFL because of an injury to Harrison Smith, and Exum got plenty of playing time to prove himself for the future.
Exum was one of only two Minnesota Vikings defenders to play in all 64 snaps, joined by middle linebacker Eric Kendricks. Exum finished with three tackles, a tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery. Prior to Sunday, the most snaps Exum had on defense was six in Week 3.
On the defensive line, the Vikings had a very solid rotation of players, with Everson Griffen getting the most time – 57 snaps.
On offense, besides the offensive line and QB Teddy Bridgewater – those six played every snap – it was tight end Kyle Rudolph getting the most time with 59 of the 70 snaps in a strong all-around performance in the passing and running game. Stefon Diggs continued to get the most work of the receivers with 54 snaps.
