Linval Joseph inactive again; Everon Griffen active for Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings will be without DT Linval Joseph, LB Anthony Barr and S Harrison Smith against the Bears.

Nose tackle Linval Joseph (foot) is inactive once again after being listed as questionable on Friday.

The Minnesota Vikings had already ruled out starting linebacker Anthony Barr (groin/hand) and safety Harrison Smith (knee/hamstring), along with receiver Charles Johnson (ankle) and defensive end Scott Crichton (concussion/neck). Crichton was placed on injured reserve on Saturday and defensive lineman Zach Moore was promoted from the practice squad. Moore is active for the first time since joining the Vikings earlier this year.

In addition to Joseph, Barr, Smith and Johnson, the Vikings also made QB Taylor Heinicke, C Nick Easton and T Jeremiah Sirles inactive.

Defensive end Everson Griffen (shoulder), like Joseph, was listed as questionable on Friday, but he is active and will start.

Andrew Sendejo (knee) and rookie Anthony Harris are starting at safety with Smith out. Tom Johnson is once again inserted into the starting lineup for Joseph, with Floyd moving over to nose tackle, and Edmond Robinson will be starting for Barr.

For the Bears, WR Alshon Jeffery, OLB Pernell McPhee and TE Zach Miller are all active after being listed as questionable.
