Minnesota Vikings Hall of Famers beat Minnesota Wild stars in Ryder Cup challenge

Minnesota Vikings Hall of Famers John Randle and Randall McDaniel beat two current stars of the Minnesota Wild in a friendly golf competition in advance of the Ryder Cup being held in Minnesota next month.

As part of the lead-up to the Ryder Cup being hosted at Hazeltine National in Chaska, Minn., in late September, two Minnesota Vikings Hall of Famers took on two Minnesota Wild in a drive, chip and putt challenge.

John Randle and Randall McDaniel might have muscle-bound swings, but they proved they can play some golf when they took on Zach Parise and Erik Haula of the Wild in a friendly golf competition in honor of the upcoming Ryder Cup.

The Vikings duo took an early lead in the driving competition but fell behind in the chipping portion. But when it came to putting, Randle and McDaniel made their comeback on the green to give them bragging rights, as the Ryder Cup video above shows.
