Report: Teddy Bridgewater surgery scheduled for Thursday

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is scheduled to have surgery on his knee Thursday, according to ESPN.

The Minnesota Vikings will get a better understanding of Teddy Bridgewater’s recovery time after he has surgery that is scheduled for Thursday, according to ESPN.

Bridgewater suffered a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, a dislocated knee and other structural damage in his left knee last Tuesday when he was hurt during practice without taking contact.

According to a source, the Vikings are expected to release more information after Bridgewater has the surgery. They have indicated a few times that the full extent of his injury should be clarified during surgery.

The third-year quarterback was placed on injured reserve last week, but he has made at least two visits to Winter Park since suffering the injury, including on Monday.
