Stefon Diggs returns, Minnesota Vikings healthier post-bye

The Minnesota Vikings are getting more players back from injury after their bye week.

After back-to-back 100-yard games to start the season, Minnesota Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs appeared on the injury report with a groin but played in the next two games, held to a combined 87 yards.

Finally, in Week 5, Diggs was deactivated after not practicing the entire week leading up to that game against the Houston Texans.

However, Diggs returned to practice on Wednesday on a limited basis, an indication he is closer to returning to game action. It was the first time he had practiced in more than two weeks.

The Vikings’ bye week also saw the return of guard Brandon Fusco, who was knocked out of the Texans game with a concussion suffered the prior week. Fusco was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.

Joining Diggs as limited participants were WRs Jarius Wright (groin) and Laquon Treadwell (thumb) and T Jeremiah Sirles (knee).

TE MyCole Pruitt (knee/ankle) and DT Sharrif Floyd (knee) remained out, as they were prior to the bye.
