Linval Joseph active for Minnesota Vikings, Laquon Treadwell out vs. Washington

The Minnesota Vikings will have big run-stuffing nose tackle Linval Joseph against the Washington Redskins.

The Minnesota Vikings knew they would be without CB Captain Munnerlyn when they downgraded him from questionable to out on Saturday, but nose tackle Linval Joseph, who was also questionable on Friday, is active against the Washington Redskins.

That’s important because former first-round defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd isn’t ready to play after early-season arthroscopic surgery and is among Sunday’s inactives.

In addition to Munnerlyn, the Vikings made 2016 first-round pick Laquon Treadwell (hamstring) inactive, along with punt return Marcus Sherels. With Treadwell inactive, it brings back into play slot receiver Jarius Wright, who has played in only two games this year.

The Redskins made WR DeSean Jackson and RB Matt Jones inactive.

Vikings inactives: QB Taylor Heinicke, Treadwell, Munnerlyn, Sherels, G Willie Beavers, G Zac Kerin, DT Sharrif Floyd.

Redskins inactives: QB Nate Sudfeld, Jackson, Jones, DL Jordan Hill, T Blaine Clausell, G Arie Kouandjio, DE Matt Ioannidis.
