Minnesota Vikings without leading WR Stefon Diggs

The Minnesota Vikings will vie for the NFC North Division lead without their leading receiver.

Stefon Diggs will miss his second game this season as a knee injury kept him out of practice all week and will keep him out of the Minnesota Vikings Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions.

Last time against the Lions, Diggs had the first of his two straight 13-catch games. Diggs has an NFL-leading 33 receptions over the last three weeks.

The Vikings will also be missing starting CB Terence Newman (neck) and punt returner Marcus Sherels (ankle/ribs).

In addition to Diggs, Newman and Sherels, the Vikings made QB Taylor Heinicke, T Rashod Hill, DT Sharrif Floyd and DE Stephen Weatherly inactive.

Harrison Smith, Eric Kendricks and Captain Munnerlyn, who were all listed as questionable, are active.

For the Lions, LB DeAndre Levy is inactive with a knee injury, but DE Ezekial Ansah and RB Theo Riddick will play. They were listed as questionable, along with Levy. Joining Levy as inactive for the Lions are S Don Carey, DT Khyri Thornton, QB Jake Rudock, T Cornelius Lucas, OL Joe Dahl and RB Justin Forsett
