Vikings Release 13 Players

The Vikings released 13 players today to reach the 53-man roster limit imposed by the NFL.

The Vikings were unable to find a team willing to trade for Lorenzo Bromell, so the veteran defensive end was among the 13 cuts the Vikings made today to reach the NFL-mandated 53-man roster limit.

Also released were WR/KR Robert Baker, offensive linemen Jon Carman, Adam Goldberg and Adam Haayer, defensive backs Ron Israel, Carey Scott and Horace Willis, running backs Larry Ned and James Wofford, WR Ben Nelson, TE Ben Steele and LB Max Yates.

The Vikings can form their five-man practice squad, which is sure to contain more than one of the aforementioned players, tomorrow.
