Minnesota Vikings’ preseason schedule announced

The Minnesota Vikings will start their preseason with two straight road games, then return home for the final two games.

The NFL has released the 2017 preseason schedule, or at least the opponents each team will face and what week of the preseason they will play.

For the Minnesota Vikings, it means two straight road games to start the preseason schedule at the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 (Aug. 10-13) and Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 (Aug. 18-20), followed by a Sunday night presentation against the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 27.

The Vikings’ final preseason game will be a Thursday night game against the Miami Dolphins on Aug. 31.

The Week 3 game will be broadcast nationally on NBC’s Sunday Night Football as the Vikings kick off their second season in U.S. Bank Stadium. That game will start at 7 p.m.

With the exception of the Week 3 preseason game, the other ones can be seen locally on KMSP Fox 9 while all of them can be heard on KFAN-FM 100.3, KTLK-AM 1130 and the Vikings Radio Network.

Again, besides the Week 3 nationally televised game, specific dates and times will be announced when finalized.
