In addition to signing unrestricted free agent CB Antoine Winfield to a contract, the Minnesota Vikings had unrestricted free agents WR Marcus Robinson (Ravens) and LB Isaiah Kacyvenski (Seahawks) in for visits over the last 24 hours.
The club is looking to get an experienced receiver to play opposite star WR Randy Moss and the 29-year old Robinson would give them the downfield threat that they have been looking for. As for Kacyvenski, the club is looking for depth at linebacker and help on special teams (where Kacyvenski can have a real impact).
Notes: Fred Robbins, a 12 game starter at defensive tackle for the Vikings last year, signed a multi-year deal with the Giants Friday evening.
