The Red McCombs sale rumors took a back seat Monday as the team announced it has signed its entire front office staff to contract extensions -- keeping the entire staff together and showing organizational continuity not seen since the end of the Dennis Green era in 2001.
Earlier this year, the Vikings extended all of their assistant coaches through 2005, leaving only Mike Tice with a contract that expires after 2004 (although the team does have an option on his contract for the 2005 season.)
Those included in the recent extension were Vice President of Football Operations Rob Brzezinski, Director of Football Administration Dave Blando, Director of Scouting Scott Studwell, five pro personnel scouts including Paul Wiggin and Frank Gilliam and six college scouts.
