2004 RANKINGS
Vikings: offense 1st (23rd rush, 1st pass); defense 29th (10th rush, 30th pass).
Texans: offense 11th (12th rush, 11th pass); defense 18th (26th rush, 13th pass)

KEYS TO THE GAME
The Vikings' offensive line will have to be sharp out of the gate following a bye week. Houston's opponents have been called for 12 false starts in two games at Reliant Stadium this season.

The Vikings are expected turn to rookie RB Mewelde Moore for the brunt of their carries with Onterrio Smith beginning his suspension and Michael Bennett injured, but the Texans' secondary struggles with big plays and has no one to match up with Vikings WR Randy Moss.

RB Domanick Davis is expected to return for the Texans, who would like to run the ball effectively and control the clock to keep their defense on the field. If the game is tight in the fourth quarter, Texans QB David Carr has a 140.9 passer rating in the fourth quarter this season.
