How Much Will Moss Play?

After playing only two downs last Sunday against Tennessee, Randy Moss will get another opportunity to increase his role against the Giants. He is expected to start, but it is still uncertain how often he will be used and in what situations.

Last week, all eyes were on the sidelines at the Metrodome wondering if Randy Moss was going to play. The same will be true this weekend, but the bigger question won't be if Moss is going to play, it's how much will he play?

Daunte Culpepper said Thursday that Moss looks "100 percent better" than he did at this time a week ago and will be ready to go Sunday. What role he will play is another question.

Vikings coaches and players saw how distraught Moss was last week when he was forced to sit and get treatment on his ailing hamstring. It seems clear that, if the decision is up to him, he'll play and try to bring the deep pass back to the Vikings offense.

* The Vikings scored 20 unanswered points Sunday to finish off the Titans.
* The Vikings are 3-0 at the Metrodome, while the Giants are 2-1 on the road.
* The only team the Giants have played that has a winning record was Philadelphia. The Eagles beat the Giants 31-17.
* The Vikings have five different receivers with 20 or more receptions this year – Moss, Mewelde Moore, Nate Burleson, Marcus Robinson and Jermaine Wiggins.
