With two weeks to go until the draft, the Vikings likely aren't too concerned about the preseason schedule, but it was announced Friday and carries a theme Vikings fans haven't seen in some time -- consistency.
All four of the Vikings' preseason games will be played on Friday nights, starting with an Aug. 12 matchup with the Chiefs at 7 p.m. in the Metrodome. The following week, the Vikings go on the road for a nationally televised game at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 vs. the Jets on CBS. The Vikings close the home portion of the preseason schedule at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 vs. the Chargers and close out the preseason with an 8 p.m. tilt vs. the Seahawks Sept. 2.
The regular season schedule is expected to be released the middle of next week.
