Wiggin Voted to College H.O.F.

Paul Wiggin was a dominant figure during his college days at Stanford and was one of 13 honorees as part of the Class of 2006 voted into the College Football Hall of Fame Wednesday.

Vikings Director of Pro Personnel Paul Wiggin has several accomplishments on his resume, but Wednesday he was able to add College Football Hall of Famer to that list.

Wiggin was one of 13 men named to the Class of 2006 -- 11 players and two coaches. Wiggin, a defensive tackle standout for Stanford, was a two-time All-American in 1955-56.

Among the other honorees were former Vikings linebacker Cornelius Bennett (Alabama, 1983-86).

Wiggin is no stranger to such honors. A few years back, Stanford named him Defensive Player of the Century for the school.

* Onterrio Smith returned to practice after missing a day of developmental camp. He worked out primarily with the second and third teams and didn't address the media.
* Marcus Robinson has returned to individual drills. He's been sidelined since having a cyst removed from his left knee Thursday.
* Today is the final day of the team's developmental camp. The Vikings will have three more in June.
