Several current and former Vikings are scheduled to take part in the 11th Annual Ride for Life this Saturday -- a motorcycle rally that raises money for the Viking Children's Fund.
The rally, which began as a one-location event, has grown into three starting areas -- one in the Twin Cities at Maplewood, another in Duluth and a third in St. Cloud. All three sites will converge on Grand Casino Hinckley, where a silent auction and prize giveaway will take place.
Those who register for the event will have a chance to win some of the prizes available, which have a value of more than $25,000. One biker will take home $10,000 in cash. Other prizes include a 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster, season tickets, tickets to the Vikings-Packers game, autographs, team jerseys, signed footballs and more.
For more information, go to the team's official website at www.vikings.com for more details.
