The Vikings made several roster moves today, releasing punter Darren Bennett and replacing him with Seattle backup punter Chris Kluwe.
Bennett, who struggled with the length and hang time of his punts since coming to the Vikings, likely sealed his fate Friday with a 19-yard punt and another that only traveled 20 yards before a fortuitous bounce allowed it to end up 31 yards downfield.
In other moves, the Vikings signed seven players to the practice squad, including six players who were released yesterday. WR Chris Jones, S Will Hunter, RB Adimchobe Echemandu, LB Heath Farwell, OT Shannon Snell and TE Richard Angulo were all re-signed -- as well as newcomer OT Sean Bubin.
