The Vikings continue to build up their wide receiver arsenal, as word got out Monday that the team is close to announcing a two-year contract signing with wide receiver Koren Robinson.
"I had a great visit," head coach Mike Tice said of his time with Robinson on Monday. "He had a great work out today. Hopefully we'll see. As I said, we are working on some things this week. We had a great visit, and I don't do contracts."
The terms haven't been disclosed, but VU is hearing that the deal is for two years and $1.5 million and has several easy-to-reach incentives. The team is expected to make the signing official as early as today. When that happens someone will have to be released from the 53-man roster, with early candidates being Keenan Howry or Kelly Campbell.
