The Vikings and Michael Bennett seem to be on different paths. The Vikings want to get something in return for Bennett if they opt to move him. Bennett wants more chances to play. It seems neither will get their wish any time soon.
With the NFL trade deadline at 3 p.m. today, the Vikings aren't looking to be shipping Bennett off to the Cardinals, as has been reported for the last several weeks -- some reports earlier this month calling it all but a done deal.
Interest in Bennett has cooled as has interest in dealing with the Vikes, who are now shrouded by scandal. So, it looks like -- for better or worse -- Bennett stays.
* Three more names -- Lance Johnstone, Willie Offord and Ken Irvin -- have been reported as players that were on the infamous three-hour tour boat excursion.
* Nate Burleson is expecterd to be back for Sunday's game with the Packers.
* Offord underwent successful left ACL surgery late last week and is expected to take six months to fully rehab the injury.
