Mike Tice is still learning this head coaching thing. Now he gets a chance to be the leader of an ever-changing cast of Vikings.
Tice will lead the Vikes in three camps -- two for the new guys and one for everybody -- over the next couple of weeks as the Vikings officially begin moving toward 2002.
The team will have two developmental camps -- one running from Tuesday to Friday and another June 3-5 -- and a full-blown mini-camp June 7-9. These are seen as a chance for Tice to assess the new players he has and a chance to see how the several new players mesh with the established core of the team.
As always, VU will be on hand for all of these camps and will report what changes can be expected in the coming season. If anything, expect a lot of changes to come out and the team will likely tip its hand at the minicamps to show what changes on the field will be expected when the games start for real in September.
