Brad Childress' Minnesota Vikings start the 2006 preseason schedule by hosting Randy Moss and the Oakland Raiders in the Metrodome at 7 p.m. on Monday night, Aug. 14, the debut of Monday Night Football on ESPN.
The exact dates for the following three weekends of games haven't been announced, but the Vikings know they will travel to the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers the weekend of Aug. 17-21, then return home to play host to Brian Billick's Baltimore Ravens the weekend of Aug. 24-28.
The Vikings conclude the preseason by traveling to Dallas for a matchup against wide receiver Terrell Owens and the Cowboys.
All four preseason games will be broadcast on KFAN, KOOL 108 and the Vikings Radio Network. KSTP-TV has the television rights for the final three preseason games.
