For fans that want to be more than just casual spectators of the 2006 NFL draft, the Vikings are allowing them to come into the party and be part of the fun.
Tickets go on sale today for the Vikings' annual draft party. The doors will open Saturday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. -- a half-hour before the draft begins -- and will remain open until 4 p.m.
Scheduled to appear at the party are Pat Williams, Mewelde Moore, Jermaine Wiggins, several Vikings alumni and the Vikings cheerleaders. Also on hand will be KFAN Radio, which will broadcast live from the event.
In addition to the players involved, there will be a large interactive area that includes merchandise, interactive games, food and beverages.
Tickets for the event are $20 each and can be obtained by calling the Vikings ticket office at 612-33-VIKES.
