Vikings cornerback Ronyell Whitaker started for the Rhein Fire and returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown in Rhein's 35-31 loss at Amsterdam on Saturday. Whitaker also had four tackles on defense and two tackles on special teams. Rhein dropped to a first-place tie with Amsterdam at 4-1.
Vikings wide receiver Aaron Hosack started for the Frankfurt Galaxy and had seven catches for 102 yards and a touchdown in Frankfurt's 17-13 win over Hamburg on Saturday. Hosack's TD catch with just over 4 minutes remaining in the game gave the Galaxy the win. Frankfurt is 3-2.
Sean Bubin, allocated by the Vikings, started at right tackle for the Hamburg Sea Devils in their 17-13 loss to Frankfurt on Saturday. Frankfurt is winless in the league.
All three Vikings are expected back in action this Saturday and Sunday.
