Two weeks ago, Vikings cornerback Ronyell Whitaker was the NFL Europe Defensive Player of the Week. He followed that by returning an interception for a touchdown, and this past weekend he started at right cornerback for the Rhein Fire and was second on the team with six tackles and led the team with two special teams tackles in Rhein's 30-21 loss to league-leading Amsterdam on Saturday.
Vikings wide receiver Aaron Hosack started for the Frankfurt Galaxy and had three catches for 18 yards in Frankfurt's 18-17 win over Berlin on Saturday. Frankfurt and Rhein are tied for second place with 4-2 records.
Sean Bubin started at offensive right tackle for the Hamburg Sea Devils in their 20-17 loss to Cologne on Sunday. Hamburg is winless so far this season.
All three players will be in action again this weekend while their stateside team is busy with the NFL draft.
