3 Vikings Continue NFL Europe Journey

Three Minnesota Vikings allocated to the NFL Europe League continued in their starting roles last weekend for their respective teams.

Ronyell Whitaker, who played for Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin in Tampa Bay, started at right cornerback for the Rhein Fire and finished second on the team with eight tackles and a pass defensed in Rhein's 16-14 loss to Frankfurt on Saturday. The loss dropped Rhein into third place in the NFL Europe standings at 5-3.

Vikings wide receiver Aaron Hosack was on the winning end of that game. He started and caught four passes for 26 yards for the Frankfurt Galaxy.

Sean Bubin, who was on the Vikings' practice squad much of last season, started at right tackle for the Hamburg Sea Devils in their 38-14 win over Berlin on Sunday. The Sea Devils rushed for 115 yards in their first win of the season.

All three Vikings will play again this Sunday.
