UDFA Analysis: DE Jayme Mitchell

He's a player that isn't getting much attention, but he's a large defensive lineman. Can former Mississippi defensive end Jayme Mitchell translate that into an NFL career? Find out TFY Draft Preview had to say about him before the 2006 draft.

Full Name: Jayme Mitchell School: Mississippi Pos: DE

Ht: 6-6 Wt: 281 40: 4.95 Year: 4Sr

Bio: Two-year starter who posted career-best numbers of 40/9.5/3 as a senior after 23/5/1 the prior year.

Pos: Tall, athletic lineman who flashes ability. Quick off the snap, displays an inside move and stays within his angle of attack. Fluid moving laterally, immediately changes direction and can be used off the line in coverage.

Neg: Slow shedding blocks, not instinctive and lacks intensity.

Analysis: Considered an underachiever by NFL scouts, Mitchell must turn his flashes of ability into consistency this summer for any chance of making a roster.
