On the same day that the Vikings released Koren Robinson as a result of his run-in with the law, word surfaced that another Viking had a meeting with police.
Safety Dwight Smith was cited early Saturday after police responded to a call in downtown Minneapolis. Smith was discovered in a stairwell of a downtown nightclub with a 24-year old woman and both were cited for indecent conduct.
Smith wasn't brought into jail for the incident. Both he and the woman were ticketed and released.
In a statement released by the Vikings, coach Brad Childress acknowledged he was aware of the situation, but wouldn't address it until more information became available.
