In his Tuesday press conference, Vikings coach Brad Childress talks about the injuries, his decision to switch to rookie quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, Troy Williamson, the right tackle position and more.
In his interview with Sirius NFL Radio, Childress talked about having a short week of practice with a rookie quarterback, Tarvaris Jackson, making his first NFL start.
"He doesn't have much time to think about it, that's the good thing," Childress said.
But there are other issues the Vikings are facing on Thursday night, namely Brett Favre and Donald Driver. Childress told Sirius hosts Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan that the Vikings need to get more pressure on the quarterback.
Childress declined to say if wide receiver Marcus Robinson would play this week, but he did address the discrepancy between the coach and player on Robinson's injury. Childress also addressed Chester Taylor's status and the short week of preparation.
