Vikings coach Brad Childress talked about the injuries and those players that have recovered from them, the car accident with cornerback Fred Smoot and the ensuing roster decisions that need to be made.
In part two of Childress' press conference, he talked about his decision to release wide receiver Marcus Robinson, how he handled it and how he has been perceived, and the opportunities available for young players in the last game of the season.
Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson talked about the improvements he wants to make in his second NFL start, having a full week to prepare for the St. Louis Rams, getting comfortable with his young receivers, and using the last game of the season as a proving grounds for next year.
