NFL Keeps Moving, Vikes Sign Two

The Vikings have signed tight end Visanthe Shiancoe and linebacker Vinny Ciurciu but have yet to sign wide receiver Kevin Curtis as of early Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, other players around the league are finding new homes in moves that could affect Minnesota.

While nothing has transpired out of Winter Park with wide receiver Kevin Curtis yet (as of 1 p.m. Central Saturday), the Vikings are starting to lose out on other interests and potential interests.

Running back Sammy Morris just signed with New England, and the Vikings had shown an interest in him.

Wide receiver Drew Bennett also signed with the St. Louis Rams. While the Vikings hadn't shown an interest in him, he would have been a potential fit if Curtis doesn't sign and continues his tour to Detroit today.

Wide receiver Ashley Lelie, who could be close to signing with the Houston Texans or maybe the San Francisco 49ers, is another possibility for the Vikings, who are believed to have a visit planned for Lelie on Monday.

In a surprise move, the Chargers were able to re-sign guard Kris Dielman. He was thought to be deep into negotiations with the Seattle Seahawks last night.

That could leave more money on the table for the Seahawks to negotiate with tight end Daniel Graham (New England), whom the Vikings have an interest in.

More to come on Shiancoe and Ciurciu
