WR Brandon Stokley has agreed to a one-year deal with the Broncos. Stokley, 30, figures to play a prominent role behind expected starters Javon Walker and Brandon Marshall. Rod Smith, 36, is expected to miss the next four months following Feb. 26 hip surgery.
S Adam Archuleta, who had a very disappointing 2006 with the Redskins, has reportedly been traded to Chicago for a sixth-round pick. Archuleta was due a $5 mllion bonus on Wednesday as part of a seven-year, $35 million deal he signed last offseason.

FB Vonta Leach, a restricted free agent, signed a four-year, $7 million offer with the Giants. The Texans have seven days to match or lose Leach for no compensation because he was tendered at just $850,000.
TE Jerramy Stevens, an unrestricted free agent, will not be offered a contract by the Seahawks. Stevens was arrested in Arizona last week on suspicion of drunk driving and possession of marijuana. "I would say it's probably a time for a change of scenery and to move on," Seahawks GM Tim Ruskell said March 20.
