Preseason Schedule Released

The NFL released the Vikings' 2007 preseason schedule, which looks to include three teams that made the playoffs earlier this year.

The Vikings on Monday found out who they play during the preseason, and the schedule includes a nationally televised game along the way.

The preseason opens where last season ended -- at home vs. the Rams. Times haven't been announced and, at this point, it is scheduled to be played either Friday, Aug. 10, or Saturday, Aug. 11.

The second game will be nationally televised on FOX when the Vikings travel to play the Jets at the Meadowlands. The game will be at 7 p.m. Central time Friday, Aug. 17.

The Vikes will stay on the road to play the NFC West champion Seahawks in the third week -- bringing the return of Steve Hutchinson to Seattle once again. No time has been set for the game, but it will be played either Friday, Aug. 24 or Saturday, Aug. 25.

The final preseason game will be at home vs. the Cowboys and, while he likely won't see much action, it will be the first return to the Metrodome of Terrell Owens since his famous blowup that led to his ouster from the 49ers. No time has been set for the game, but it will be played on Thursday, Aug. 30 -- most likely with a 7 p.m. local time start.
