The Vikings' wide receiver watch continues.
After watching as several big-name receivers moved from one locale to the next, the Vikings have been quiet on that front. After making a strong pitch for Kevin Curtis, the Vikings have been silent other than to sign Bobby Wade.
It would appear the team plans to add one more wideout before the draft, but who? Aaron Moorhead was in town earlier this week and former Jaguar Cortex Hankton finished up a visit Wednesday night.
Not exactly the biggest names in the world, but at least it's something.
* Those who were hoping against hope that the Vikings might sign David Carr to a team-friendly deal got the bad news when it was reported that Carr signed a two-year, $6 million deal to back up Jake Delhomme with the Panthers. $3 million of the money was in the form of a signing bonus.
* Three teams – the Bengals, Ravens and Chargers – haven't signed a single outside free agent in the month since free agency began.
