The Vikings made a minor roster addition, signing Ohio State linebacker John Kerr on Monday. Kerr measures 6012, 235 pounds and recorded forty times in the 4.69-4.86 range prior to the draft. He transferred to Ohio State from Indiana, where he was stuck behind A.J. Hawk, Bobby Carpenter and Anthony Schlegel in 2005. He had modest stats as a senior with the Buckeyes, recording 26 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one pass breakup. Kerr is most likely a camp body, but fits nicely with the scheme.
