>Patriots would be logical landing spot for Winfield
If the Winfield vs. Childress fued boils over, resulting in the need to trade the veteran cornerback, the Patriots, with a pair of first-round picks next year would be logical trade partners.  Plus they have cornerback Asante Samuel, who is holding out for significantly more money than Winfield is under contract for.  (Charley Walters)

>Vikings add Ohio State linebacker to roster
The Vikings made a minor roster addition, signing Ohio State linebacker John Kerr on Monday.  Kerr measures 6012, 235 pounds and recorded forty times in the 4.69-4.86 range prior to the draft.  He transferred to Ohio State from Indiana, where he was stuck behind A.J. Hawk, Bobby Carpenter and Anthony Schlegel in 2005.  He had modest stats as a senior with the Buckeyes, recording 26 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one pass breakup.  Kerr is most likely a camp body, but fits nicely with the scheme.  Other links: (Bio)(Columbus Dispatch)(OSU)

>Who will take a chance on Culpepper?
His days in Miami are numbered, but where will he land?  We think being reunited with Scott Linehan in St. Louis makes the most sense, but no matter where Daunte goes it's going to disrupt the situation with the existing starter.  (FOXSports
