The Vikings, along with the Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins are among teams known to be attending Nebraska offensive lineman Chris Patrick's campus workout today.  A 6-foot-4, 300-pounder who reportedly has 5.1 speed in the 40-yard dash, he probably projects to guard in the NFL.  Patrick's application for the supplemental draft was recently approved by the league office.

Fred Smoot couldn't leave well enough alone.  In a recent interview he brought up the "Love Boat" incident once again and claimed that 'nothing happened on that boat.'  Whatever, Fred.  Everyone was out to get you in Minnesota.  Smoot's performance with the Vikings pretty much speaks for itself (see Carolina game in 2005).  It's always somebody else's fault, though.  (Fanhouse)

>Anoia headed to WWE?
DT Joe Anoia was signed by the Vikings as a rookie free agent out of Georgia Tech following this year's NFL Draft.  But he didn't last long being released following the team's initial rookie camp.  Anoia is the brother of former WWE star Rosey.  If he doesn't hook up with another NFL team this year, or doesn't at least make practice squad roster, he will likely be offered a developmental contract from WWE.  (ImpactWrestling)
