Adrian Peterson continued to climb the charts in the Vikings record book, and a few other Vikings made the notes with their performances Sunday against Tampa Bay.

GAME NOTES vs. TAMPA BAY

  • Adrian Peterson's 85 yards rushing give him a career total of 2,441, which moves him into 12th place in team history. Michael Bennett holds the franchise mark with 3,174 yards.

  • Peterson is averaging 110 yards per game this season, which currently ranks best in team history. Peterson already holds the team record with a 95.7-yard average last season.

  • Peterson's 85 yards rushing sets a team record for most rushing yards after the first 10 games of a season, besting his mark of 1,081 from last year.

  • Peterson's 19 rushing attempts give him a career total of 463. He sets a team record for most rushing attempts in first the two seasons as a Viking, breaking Chester Taylor's mark of 460 from 2006-07.

  • Gus Frerotte becomes the first quarterback to have a passer rating of 100 or more since Tarvaris Jackson's 110.4 against Detroit on Dec. 2, 2007. Since 2004, when a Vikings quarterback hits a 100 rating, the team's record is 14-4.

  • Matt Birk played in his 140th game at center, which moves him into second place among centers in team history. Mick Tingelhoff holds the team record at center with 240 games played from 1962-78.

  • Maurice Hicks' 108 yards on kickoff returns gives him his third game of the season with 100 yards or more, which is tied for eighth in team history. Bethel Johnson in 2006 was the last Viking to have three games of 100 yards in kickoff returns.
