Leslie Frazier will apparently be staying in Minnesota as the defensive coordinator, as Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the St. Louis Rams have signed New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to a four-year, $11.5 million contract to be the Rams' next head coach.
Frazier interviewed with the Rams in Los Angeles and was reportedly one of the finalists for the job. At one point this week, Frazier was considered a favorite for the job, according to various media reports. Then Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was supposed to be in the lead on Friday.
Now, it is reportedly Spagnuolo that has been hired as Garrett returned to Dallas.
Frazier had also interviewed with the Detroit Lions, who hired Tennessee defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
