Arkansas center Jonathan Luigs won the Rimington Award as the nation's top center in 2007, and he was a finalist for the award in 2008. One of the more athletic players at his position, Luigs measured in at 6-foot-3 (6033) and 302 pounds during Monday's weigh-in session in Mobile.
By Tuesday night, Luigs admitted that the Senior Bowl experience has been a lot to take in, especially since it's the first major milestone for NFL draft prospects.

"It's still surreal to me. The opportunity to be down here, seeing all the guys, seeing Coach (Bill) Parcells and some of the head coaches, being able to work with them and having them wanting me to be part of their team is just an incredible honor," he told Scout.com during an exclusive interview.
The Dolphins are one of many teams that Luigs has met with already during the early days of Senior Bowl week. And meeting Parcells was a moment that really made an impression on him.
"You seem him on TV, and how much he's done for this game and just the legacy he holds. And for him to be down here taking in what he's seeing this week, that shows you how big of a week it is for us," he said.
Luigs, whom Scout.com NFL Draft Analyst Chris Steuber currently has ranked as the third-best center in Scout.com's 2009 Draft Rankings, believes that his amount of experience will be evident and a difference-maker as pro scouts continue to watch how he plays the position.
"I played a lot of ball, and to actually have the opportunity to play this game at the next level is exciting," he said. "I'm just trying to keep to my game and what I know how to do, and the rest will take care of itself."
Luigs has a friendly and outgoing personal style that will undoubtedly help him as he continues to meet with representatives from pro teams. While he's talked with numerous teams from around the league already, a few of the other clubs that have shown interest in him in addition to Miami are the Vikings, Browns, Rams and Redskins.
