Booty called back

A day after releasing quarterback John David Booty, he was among the eight players called back to play on the Vikings practice squad, which was announced Sunday afternoon.

A day after 22 Vikings players had to be released to get to the roster limit of 53 players, the team announced today that eight of them have come back to the practice squad, including quarterback John David Booty.

The Vikings have an eye to offense with their practice squad players, since six of the eight players come from the offensive side of the ball. The eight players are Booty, RB Ian Johnson, OT Drew Radovich, OG Chris Clark, WR Nick Moore, TE Garrett Mills, DT Tremaine Johnson and DB Colt Anderson.

As practice squad players, they can be signed away by any other team, but must be on the 53-man roster and remain there or release them completely.
