After being inactive last week, defensive tackle Fred Evans is active this week with Jimmy Kennedy taking a turn on the inactive list for the Vikings. Injury concerns Heath Farwell (hamstring) and Anthony Herrera (back) are both active.
WR and return man Jaymar Johnson is also inactive again this week after the solid return performances by Darius Reynaud and Percy Harvin last week. Once again, the Vikings enter the game with only four wide receivers active.
The complete list of inactives for the Vikings in Detroit is QB Sage Rosenfels (third quarterback), WR Jaymar Johnson, WR Greg Lewis, CB Asher Allen, S Husain Abdullah, LB Erin Henderson, C Kory Lichtensteiger and DT Jimmy Kennedy.
For the Lions, inactive are QB Drew Stanton (third quarterback), WR Derrick Williams, FB Terrelle Smith, DE Turk McBride, G Daniel Loper, T Ephraim Salaam and DE Cliff Avril. Loper and Avril were both expected to start if healthy, so Lions will be missing a starter on each of their lines.
Farwell, Herrera active
