Record-seekers vs. 49ers

Percy Harvin's explosiveness is putting him in elite team company with his kickoff returns, Adrian Peterson continues to break franchise marks, and Ryan Longwell and Greg Lewis also join a list of top team accomplishments.

  • Percy Harvin is the first player in the team history to score a touchdown in his first three games as a Viking. Sammy White (1976) held the previous rookie mark at two.

  • Harvin's kickoff return of 101 yards is tied for the second-longest in team history, bested only by Aundrae Allison's 104-yard return on Dec. 2, 2007. Lance Rentzel also had a 101-yard return against Baltimore in 1965.

  • Harvin's 180 yards on kickoff returns ranks second by a rookie in team history for a single game. Rhymes had 182 kickoff-return yards against Chicago on Sept. 18, 1985.

  • Harvin's 45.0-yard kickoff return average ranks second in team history for a single game. Allison averaged 47.7 yards against Detroit in that 2007 game.
