Williams, Shiancoe both active

The Vikings are close to full strength, at least as far as their active players Sunday against the New York Giants.

Defensive tackle Pat Williams and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe are both active Sunday against the New York Giants. Both of those starters were listed as questionable heading into the game, Shiancoe with a thigh injury and Williams with an elbow injury that kept him out of last Monday night's game in Chicago.

Defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, who filled in for Williams last week, is inactive with a thumb injury that kept him from practicing all week.

Inactive for the Vikings are QB Sage Rosenfels (third QB), WR Jaymar Johnson, CB Karl Paymah, TE Garrett Mills, LB J Leman, C Jon Cooper, Kennedy and DE Jayme Mitchell.

As expected, several regulars for the Giants are inactive with injuries. CB Corey Webster (knee), T Kareem McKenzie (knee), G Rich Seubert (knee), WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) and DL Chris Canty (knee) are all inactive, as are new signees Rashad Sha'reff and TE Scott Chandler.
