Vikings offensive lineman Artis Hicks is hitting the free-agent trail today and has three visits over the next three days.
He was on his way to visit the Washington Redskins today and tomorrow, then has a visit scheduled for Sunday in Arizona and Monday in Detroit. He doesn't have any predetermined plan for whether or not he'd sign with any of those teams if they made a proposal.
"Depends on what the offer is," he said. "Depends on what's best for me and my family."
Hicks isn't opposed to re-signing with the Vikings.
"They're still talking to my agent," he said. "They remain open. I would love to stay there too. Great team."
Hicks started one game at right tackle and two games at right guard in 2009, but he can play any position but center. He is entering his ninth NFL season.
